Default Jeep won't stay started without my foot on the pedal

Did a lot of stuff in the engine bay but now it won't stay fired up. It starts and wants to go but it just won't stay fired up without my foot on the gas. Here's the list of stuff I threw in it (most of it ordered from Parts Geeks).

Spark Plugs (Champion)
Wires (Napa)
Distributor (Accel)
Rotor (Mopar)
Ignition Coil (Accel)
Battery is newer
Serpentine Belt
Water Pump (Gates)
A/C bypass pulley
Air Filter
Radiator and cap
Thermostat
Valve Cover Gasket
Yanked out all the A/C stuff.

Any ideas as to why it won't stay fired without my foot on the gas pedal? It has gas in it as well. I think the belt might be too tight or something with the coil and ignition, it doesn't sound like it has a misfire though either.

Any help is appreciated.
93 Cherokee 4.0 Country

Thank you

A weak battery will do that.

Thanks guys I'll try this today. I may yank the entire throttle body off and clean it as well.

For the battery part. The battery was unplugged for a long while so it may be a little weak, would a charger help get it back up to power?

I cleaned it for now and have it drying out. If that seems to help I'll just get a new one and do the TPS at the same time as well. I noticed the vac line was busted on what looked like the cruise control and one of the hoses going to the back of the valve cover wasn't connected either. Once it dries I'll throw it back on and hope it works. I was thinking something with the ignition timing as well. I'll have an update tomorrow. It really wasn't that dirty other than at the tip though.

Charging would certainly help, but the best thing to do is to get the battery "load tested". Any parts store will do this for you for no charge. That way you will know for sure how your battery is doing.

I have seen this stalling symptom with a weak battery too, just like 00t444e already mentioned.....a number of times.

The engine management system does not like it when available battery juice is compromised.

This is probably you main problem. You could have unknowingly caused this during your recent work.

Verify parts are actually defective before replacing. It's possible to replace a functional item with something that's bad right out of the box.

So I think it was more of the Vac lines. It started up and idled good, running smooth. The cleaning of the IAC may have helped but it really wasn't that dirty.

Now I just need to get my temperature gauge and oil pressure gauge to work both of them are maxed out but the oil pressure gauge hasn't worked for a few years.
