Default Starting issue

Hey all, my jeep just started having a problem with starting tonight, when i turn the key it makes the clicking sound like the battery is dead but battery has power, im thinking its the starter or starter solenoid. thanks in advance

Smack the starter if it starts its the starter.

Turn on the headlights and then crank it. If the headlights go out, it's a dead battery or connections. If you sure that end is good, then look to the starter.

Its a battery that was brand new last christmas that i used about 6 months and then was stored and kept charged

sounds like a starter. just replaced mine a month ago. one click usually means starter

Tap the starter with a piece of wood(so it won't spark if you hit the wires) and try starting after. If it's the starter the will usually let it start.

Not the starter, I've determined it's the negative battery terminal doesn't have a good connection to the wire so I just have to wiggle it and it works! Will be replacing the terminals tonight
