That's exactly what I saw too, good comparison pics, i think I'm just gonna see if I can get the cash and go get one and give it a go and see how it actually turns out, at the very least it may save someone the same headache.....and about 100$

Well great news, the theory works, clip the connector off the signal wire, replace it with a crimp on o ring type terminal, and it works great! Best part is the $ saved.
The starters have a minimal size difference, but bolts up great and works like brand new, from what I've experienced my starter was on it's way out since I bought the beast, but anyways yes it works and can be done very easily, thanks for any and all discussion that was put forth here! I'm off for a drive now lol!
