Default start then stalls

so i finally got my 91 jeep running and now after driving it for a day it will stsrt and run for about ten seconds unless i keep the rs above 3000. it runs great but only for a few and then just stalls. every time i turn the key to start it it will run then stall. i need my truck please help

stuck IAC maybe.... try this: start the engine and immediately unplug the IAC connector when it is still idleing.

Check the fuel pump relay ,they are known to go bad . When your starting your motor the relay is bypassed. Hopefully that's it good luck!

k ill try both. i replaced the fuel filter last night and it made it a little better i got about a mile out of it ill try your suggestions thxguys

if i unplug the iac what should it do? stay running?

You might see if you have fuel pressure at the fuel rail.

im going to test the fuel pressure in bit if it is fuel problem its obviosly my pump or regulator? relay is good new filter.. if so caan i replace my regulator without buying the whole rail? it looks like one piece

Yes it is a separate part. Before you check the rail pressure be sure to bleed all the air out from the bleeding nozzle, since you replaced the filter.
Anyway when the fp is bad you have no power at high rpm (over 3000), but it should be fine at idle.
