Default Start car revs to 8000rpm

When I start my car it starts to rev up really high up to about 8000rpms the tb is closed and all vac hoses are good and did a code reading and it showed me PO108 so I'm assuming it's the map sensor,
What else could cause this???

WOW my Jeep doesn't even have 8000 on the tach.

If you look in the write ups section there is an explanation of every code listed. I would start there. If the code says MAP sensor then I would replace it.

8000 rpm's ehh. I think your v-tec has gone bad.

But seriously 108 means your MAP sensor voltage is too high. Replace it and you will be fine.
