Stank coming from new brakes
I installed new rotors and pads on the front of my 97. Used Wagner ceramic pads. They smell horrible when they get warm. Does this go away quickly or does it do this for a while? Smells like burning brake fluid or something. Can't see any leaks. I did a break in this morning which was the first time I drove it other than around the block to check for leaks.

Did you clean off the new rotors with brake cleaner when you installed them?

Yep. I am guessing it's just the pads themselves and it will goa way soon. Hoping anyway....
Can't imagine why I would need brakes. This looks fine to me.
