Default Stabilizer Bar Replacement

I am attempting to replace the stabilizer bar bushings (all of them) and the links as soon as they get here. It is a stock setup, there are varied opinions that I have seen but I was just going to do it without putting the axle on stands ? The only thing I can see is for the clearance to work, so I was going to use my ramps. Recommendations and reasons would be appreciated, thanks.

Am I safe in assuming your talking about the sway bar bushings and end links?

I don't see why you couldn't do it on the ground/ramps. Like you said, you might just not have the best wiggle room, but I'm sure you can make it happen.

Yup. How are you gonna measure your sway bar to make sure you get the correct bushings?

Yes, I was referring to the sway bar. @Cruiser, I ordered a set of links that had the bushings included that said it was a straight replacement for a '95. As far as the bar itself I ordered a set of Moog K3171 from Amazon that says they are a direct swap on the '95. I pulled a pick and pay bar from the yard and took a wire brush to it and repainted it. If I put the bushings on the bar there is a gap then put the brackets on it there is a small gap that should close up once it is mounted and torqued. I will post a pic of this shortly. I didn't realize that there are so many different diameters until you asked.

Here are two pictures that I took. If I apply pressure by hand I can get that gap to close but not completely.

Bars to by mm and not by year.

Smear a little grease on the inside of the bushing, you'll be fine.

Thanks again. Since I didn't do enough homework I hope the links are fine when they are delivered.

I finished the swap and I am happy with the results, I was having an intermittent death wobble. I had replaced the track bar already and this was the second part I wanted to change over, I drove it at speed on the highway and hit a bump that would have normally sent it into a wobble. There was a little shake but no death wobble so I think I am in the right direction. Here are some pics, the sway bar link at the axle had no bushing in it at all.
