Default Squirrels ate my vacuum fittings

WTF....squirrels or a rat has eaten the rubber boots off my plug wires at the plug and the distributor....easy enough to fix...just replace. However they have also eaten vacuum line connections that are rubber. Does anyone know where I can find a vacuum line schematic so I can find out what the parts are called so I can purchase for replacement. I hope they like the poison I put on the engine for them!!!! Any help would be appreciated.

Those pesky lawn rats can certainly do a number when they crawl up into the engine bay. D-Con is a good deterrent. As is blasting them into the next area code with your choice of firepower.

I had a very rusty Ford station wagon a long time ago and one day I was driving down the road and looked on the passenger seat to see a chipmunk staring at me! That gets your attention. Turns out they had a "chipmunk condominium" built in bot the engine bay and cab of that vehicle.......but I still got my moneys worth from that wagon. Paid $100 for it, drove it for 2 years, then sold it for $200.

You don't specify model or year or engine, but I would start by looking under your hood, there should be an emissions sticker that generally has all the vacuum line routing

I would love to see a step-by-step post with photos of all the vacuum lines one can replace under the hood. This is a cheap fix that can avoid tons of hassles.

Yes you guessed it......1997 4.0.....would like to see schematic with vacuum connection names or part numbers.....and now based on a hole I found in a nearby bank of dirt I think my nemesis is a rat. Put out some special treats for them either way!!!!

D-con near the hole and the box of granules taped to your air cleaner assembly.

If I have to get them there I will.....I need several and I miss driving my mistress!! Yeah that's what I call her.....spend way more money on her than I should but she's so much fun!!!

Here's a start:
Dorman 030-496 Vacuum Tee Connector Technician Tray Assortment : Amazon.com : Automotive Dorman 030-496 Vacuum Tee Connector Technician Tray Assortment : Amazon.com : Automotive

Probably need to find a mechanic that has one of these and buy a few at $5 each. Expensive squirrels.

Thanks.....both of your kit suggestions are great but I need some of the Female type connections......they ate a bunch of them up.....even the one down at the vacuum ball.....the line is just there....no boot connector on it at all.....the elbow connector on the manifold is gone too.....like I said...a ton of them!!! I may have to visit the local junk yard to find them......but if anyone has some on a junker feel free to contact me!!!
