Spring leaf and crack

Hi there,

97 XJ - I was noticing unusual clucking noises coming from my rear left wheel, and after inspecting it I found out a part of my spring leaf was just hanging in there completely detached, idk how it didn't fall off. I also noticed there's visible crack up there. Obviously a new leaf set is needed ASAP, what about the crack? How bad is that, what's the best way to go?

It looks like the spring broke apart and was beating the crap out of the metal above it.

You will have to get the rest of the leaf removed and inspect the damage before you figure out how extensive it is.
