Default Spluttering after several yards

When I move off with a hot or cold engine it runs OK for about 20 yards, then briefly splutters for about 10 seconds.

After that it runs fine for the rest of the journey. I have recently fitted new plugs & plug leads, Cat, Rear silencer & O2 sensor - 97 2.5 Pertrol.

When you figure it out, let me know.

My wife's 98 does the same thing. I've replaced the CPS, TPS, O2 sensors, exhaust manifold, ... None of which fixed it.

It doesn't do it all the time. ~ Once every 5 times I drive it.

What brand was the CKP? I ask because I installed an O'Reilly's brand CKP, only to have it **** out on me within a few weeks!

I went to the dealer to get a Mopar one, but they were out, but said they got theirs through NAPA, so off I went.

Installed NAPA CKP sensor, and she's been running like new ever since!

I feel like the issue has something to do with trying to switch from open to closed loop. I just can't pin point where the exact issue is.

All the parts..apart from the Champion spark plugs are unbranded, origin unknown
The Jeep was running great after I fitted the parts for a few weeks, it just started it's shenanigans recently.

Check your fuel filter/fuel pump. I replaced my pump and it solved my problem. Same exact issue as you

On a 97, drivers 'frame' rail in front of the rear tire. I *think*.
