Cool Which spider gear kit for a 8.25 ????

Since you have to replace the spider gears anyway I would go ahead and put a lunchbox locker in, Spartan, Aussie, or Lockright.

Just for information, Lokka is the new name for Aussie. Same company, same parts, new name.

I see you looked at lunchbox lockers a few years ago:

So I'm guessing you haven't and don't want to go down that route.

I just did my rears yesterday and used these (which are like $143 normally) for only $112.00:

I thought Crowns were too cheap and Yukons were too pricey.

I never off-road, only around town and highway. I occasionally tow a heavy boat which requires sharp turns, and didn't want to become the testing ground for the "sure a limited slip can do that, NO problem!" discussion, and just use 4L if I need some extra.

I've only put a half-mile on 'em so far, so that's all I got.

Lokka is the old brand Aussie that's still made in Australia, current Aussie brand lockers are made in the USA, they are both the same design.
