Default speratic stalling

ok guys now im clueless. my gc seems to stall whenever, i have in the last 2 months replaced the plugs, wires, cap rotor, aic, tps, oil pressure sensor, new exhaust header, cleaned the throttle body and where the iac and tps hook up, cleaned the intake as best i could, and replaced the fuel filter.and put all new vacume lines on it. the catalitic converter is bad and its loose inside it ( sounds like marbles) i plan on replacing that this weekend.

oh its a 95 zj 4.0 auto, np231 with 205,000 miles on it.
it was bucking and the rpms where jumpy and it would just stall at any givin time, no mater if i was at a stop light or driving. since replacing the fuel filter yesterday, it stalled once on the way to work this am and once on the way home, yesterday and the day before it would just stall constantly.
i thought it would be the cps, but do they have sporatic behavour?

if the cat is broken down in side it could be cloging the out let and causing the motor to stall like jogging while sticking a potato in and out of your mouth ...lol...

The few times I ran into a clogged cat you could actually hear it -kinda like listening to a vacuum and it getting clogged -you can hear a different noise pitch. When I drove them you could hear the exhaust trying to get out but not and the usual engine stalls. The more you push it the worse it would get.

Ok so I go to the jeep this morning. It started then stalled. I got it to start after almost 10th minutes of cranking. And then it ran kinda rough. No cel. Fuel pump n pressure are fine. Would this be the crank case position sensor or the camshaft position sensor or the ignition control module? It smelt kinda lean too after it started.

not sure about how lean it might be but that would make sense. i was having the same problem with my xj a few months back, and my buddy had it with his zj a year ago. for both of us it was the crank position sensor, he had to replace it. i just unplugged mine and cleaned it, havnt had a problem since.
