Speedometer upgrade?
Hey!
I just picked up a high milage '88 Cherokee, which is in suprisingly good shape. It has a few issues I'd like to fix, but as it has such high mileage, I am hoping to keep costs down.
The big issue right now is the speedo and gauge cluster. A couple gauges do not work, and the speedometer cable (and where it attaches to the cluster) is broken.
I work at a junkyard where we have 4 or 5 Cherokees, but all are 1991 or newer, and there aren't many older ones on the wire. I am wondering what are the possibilities in converting rge mechanical speedo in my car to the rlrctronic ones I have a stack of.
Anyone attempted this?
