Speedometer/Tach not working

Engine: 4.0 HO
Speedometer/Tach not working
My speedometer and tachometer do not work unless I apply the brake, then they jump up to where they should be, also volt gauge doesnt work...any ideas on possible cause? Please let me know!! Thanks
