Hello I have a 1991 xj 5 speed, 5.5" lift 33" super swampers. My speedometer and odometer has stopped running my RPM and all the other gauges work properly, checked fuse under driver side kick board, the ground on the side of the engine block behind the dip stick, changed the speed sensor in the T-case, checked the gear it's in good shape (as in plastic gear teeth are not broken or sheared off) so I have a parts jeep I swapped the whole instrument cluster out with and still no speedometer or odometer. It is a electrical gauges not cable driven. I'm guessing it's a crimped or split wire. Just not sure what color wire or wires to trace back there are alot. Any help will be appreciated.

It could be the speed sensor , if you don't have a speedo cable .

I'm having this same issue. I've checked the gear in the t case, too out and cleaned the gauges and cluster, checked the fuses, and nothing from speed and odo. My battery, temp, gas and rpm gauges still work

I have changed the speed sensor I think it's a broken wired front the electrical clip on the t case
