speedometer acting wacky
Just starting a few hours ago im on my way to to discing and I stop the jeep for a minute because there was a dog just sitting in the road and it moves and I start to go and my "check gauges" light comes on and the voltage gauge is all the way down and my speedometer starts going crazy jumping up to 100 mph and goes down to 50 and eventually 0 so I pull over shut the jeep down, let it sit and start it back up and drive to the park( which is only a mile away at this point and it seemed fine. then I leave and a mile down the road the speedometer does the same thing. so I pull over and pop the hood to see that the negative battery terminal is corroded so I clean it off the best I can with what I had and got on the highway to go home and the "check gauges" light comes on and the voltage gauge isnt reading anything. I come to a stop sign and it hesitates for two seconds and I finally get home. other than the corroded battery terminal what could be causing this. . I am no good with electrical components so I need all the help I can get on this one please.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for about 15 mins to reprogram the computer? Also check all cables going from battery to relay/fuse box and alternator. Also check all of your fuses both in the cabin and engine compartment.
