OP, so I finally got around to doing the speedo sensor. I spliced it, put in the new one and all works perfectly again! I don't know if you've figured out your issue or not but here's a picture of where my speedo sensor is (that black sensor in the back of the t case), yours may be the same or similar. If you haven't already, try taking it out, cleaning it (connection, etc) and putting it back in to see if it makes a difference
