Speedo Issue
#1
Ok, I have an issue with my speedo not working. Everything else is working on my dash. I have conducted the default test for the speedo and it cycles perfectly. I can remove the connector from the rear of the t-case and spin the gear, when I do it by hand the speedo moves. I can see and feel the mesh gear on the tail shaft. Any ideas?

Ok found the issue. The person that had the XJ before me must have removed the assembly at one time and did not clock it back properly. I turned the assembly 180 and it works fine.

My speedo stopped working the other day. Disconnected the connector to the cluster and all the other electrical connections and hit it contact cleaner. Reconnected everything and it's back to normal.
