so basically all of a sudden my speedometer and fuel gauge just died i also had a low washer fluid light on and its off now. when i turn my headlights on my dash still illuminates and when i use my turn signals the indicators still flash on the dash however it seems that everthing else has died. i checked all fuses in pass side kick panel fuse box with test light because i dont have the cover so i dont know what fuse goes to what. anyone else have this problem or do you know if there is a fuse on the back of the dash? please help had a wheeling trip planned for friday and still really want to go without guesstimating my gas level and speed.

Does yours have full gauges, or just speedo/fuel? If it's just speedo/fuel, sounds like the common cluster connector problem. You can pull the cluster out, clean up the connectors on the dash and cluster sides, and make sure all the connectors are making good contact.

I have intermitten dead gauges. The entire cluster and I'm lucky enough that if I give the dash a firm swat downward above the cluster it comes back to life. I'll do this till it no longer does the trick and then really fix it

A very common problem. You may have some dirty connections. I have the same problem. Like 2trackin said give it a hit. But, don't get carried away. You don't want to crack the dash. If it doesn't come on give it a light hit just below the gauges not on the lens tho. That where I have to hit mine when it does go out. I just to lazy to fix mine.

well guys i pulled the cluster out the other day and cleaned the male and female terminals with electrical cleaner and the only thing that changed is that nothing still works but when i turn my headlights on my cluster makes a clicking noise and my gas gauge bounces up and down in from the empty symbol to right above empty, ive talked to a few people and a lot are saying that my cluster is probably fryed and that i should get a new one and some have said that it could possibly be a short in the wiring
