Default Speakers

Hey, guys, my wonderful children gifted me with a new Pioneer HU and two 6.5's. I took the old speaker out of the door w/ ease thanks to the factory harness, however that's not an option on the new speakers. Clip the old harness out and solder the wires onto the new speakers?

A pic would help but you could always do that , I mean it wouldn't hurt anything I don't think , Check out my thread please

Yup new speakers=new harness. I did the same with mine.

Crimp connectors like Spazzy said or you can solder. Really just a matter of preference, make sure to use some heat shrink tube or electrical tape.

Just put new pioneer speakers in my jeep soldiered the wires and used liquid electric tape aka waterproof coating to ensure a corosion proof good contact...happy holiday!
