Default Speaker box advice for 95

So I got a speaker box for my Cherokee. It has a rear light on it. How do they work I tried pushing th button but it doesn't click in or anything. Is there an easy way to test if the light works. And what would be some good rear speakers to put in the speaker box. What size speakers can I fit in it?

? Have you put power to any of the wires for the light itself?

Also it ain't doing you any favors sitting in the leafy trunk of your car.

The speaker covers have fold over tabs that can be straightened out from the back side (3 or 4 tabs per speaker cover) and then the cover can be removed from.the speaker bar itself.

They should be 5.25" speakers from factory but depending on your ability to modify and secure the speakers in the speaker bar itself, you can prolly install 6" speakers with ease.

I have not what's a good way to put power to it. Don't worry that bad boy is not staying there long. I'm taking it to my workshop later and then I'm gonna get it ready to reupholster it.

When I put mine in I tied into the front dome light power and added a interrupter switch in the back with the ground wire, so I could turn it on if I'm just in the back. I used Kicker 5 1/4 speakers and tied them into the existing speakers wires that already run to the hatch. When you got the soundbar did you also get the metal support bracket that ties into the roof? If not I would go back and get it the bar will be pretty floppy without it.

Crap I did not grab that. I did not realize. I'm guessing it's this part here. It was a 2 hour drive there and 2 hour back so I might just order it. Dang. How will I attach it to the roof. I added some sound deadner to my roof

The 2 holes on the flat are riveted on the rear support from the factory (I used SS self tappers as I did not originally have one). The big flat part just glues to the roof panel I would imagine that the sound deadner should hold it that stuff never comes off. If you have already installed the headliner that unfortunately will need to come back out.

Nice big thanks for letting me know. I really should have posted on here the day before that I was grabbing that and asked what else to grab. Could have grabbed it for 5 or 10 bucks instead of 30. Oh well live and learn.

That would've helped for sure, I'm surprised and lucky for you that it is an available part.
