Default spark plugs

whats the jeep factory recommended plug for the H.O 4 litre (i have a 95 if the year matters) i've heard champions but which ones? aren't champions crap?

I used to thing they were crap too, but it is what Jeep put in there OEM, so I stuck with them, and they work perfectly.

I don't know factory recommended but for what its worth i recommend NGK spark plugs. I have buddy that does desert racing and thats what he uses in his buggy and all my friends use them in their 4x4's

Just plain jane champion plugs. Seriously.... it's what came from the factory and what i run in mine. Never had much faith in them until i bought my first jeep. IMOP they are the best bang for your buck.

alright. good to know since this is my first car I've had to buy more than 4 plugs on. also, has anyone ever done the swap from strap-style u-joint retainers to u-bolt style? whats involved in this swap? i assume you have to drill out the bolt holes in the yoke

plain copper plugs do NOT get resistor plugs...
