winch wiring help!!

winch wiring help!!
I have a mile marker e12000 winch. I am in mist of getting bumper made up and I have no idea how to run the wires to the two different solenoids. i was thinkin just red terminal to red wire and black terminal to black wire and did that and nothing. I am not sure on the winch switch wiring either, please help
