NGK V POWER's or the iridiums, are the way to go, use them in my sled the xj and the durango. my 88 XJ hated the champions. just be aware everyone is going to have an opinion

Use the Champion part number specified under the hood, the Renix years were something like RC9LYC or RC9ECC or something like that, OR like cruiser says NGK coppers.
In the later model years Chrysler actually superseded Champion RC12ECC with NGK ZFR5N. I've noticed no difference between the two in my 4.0, but the NGKs work out to a little cheaper for all 6.

Yeah... Stupid Crappy. 2.99 for those or 2.07 for the NGKs. Funk that noise. Your Champions probably aren't the issue if they're newish unless one of them is dead, IIRC the change was because the Champions didn't last long enough with the waste spark from the coil packs.
