Brits don't have an objection to water do they?
I'll see what happens when I swap spark plugs again. Bout the cleaning of the combustion chamber I'll wait to get back states to use seafoam, I hear good things about it any ways

If you're going to wait until you get back to the CONUS, get some Chrysler Combustion Chamber Cleaner from the dealer. It works wonders and makes Seafoam look like baby formula in comparison.

Brits are dumb about car laws and what not, I'm going to give the NGK a shot again and make sure the gap is perfect on each one before install them. I'll be back in the states in less then 2 months. And yes all the spark plugs looked identical to one another. I'm going to take a bunch of pics for ya to see if anything sticks out to ya. Thank you so much for all the help tho I truly appreciate it
Do this then:

Pretty easy.

Get a cup of water, preferably something like a Dixie cup.
With the air cleaner off, hold the engine RPM at 2000 RPM or higher and dribble the water from the Dixie cup, which you've pinched to look like a spout on top, into the carb or throttle body. Go slowly and the engine will bog a bit. Stop and let it recover. Repeat until the cup is empty.

I bought my 2001 XJ Limited about 2yrs ago with 97K on it, got the maint. records for it and it had been recently tuned. It was running rough for the past few weeks so today I finally got around to installing new plugs & boots, 134K. I pulled RC12ECC Champions out of it and the gap was like the Grand Canyon compared to the pre-gapped new Champion RC12ECC's I put in it. They were still in good shape, not dirty, a little light brown on the electrode and insulator. It runs as smooth as melted butter now and the throttle response feels alot snappier. I used di-electric grease on the boots and the coil pack connector. My '88 XJ Pioneer 4.0L I6 uses RC9YC, my 93 4.0L I6 used the RC12LYC
