I tried to search and found nothing. I am on my mobile app and searching is tough. So anyways i read on here that the proper gap is .035. So i checked my plugs and they are all wider than that. Should i smash them down and gap they to exactly .035 or leave them how they are. none are way over that make just slightly bigger than what is recommended.

these are spark plugs from the store, they haven't been in an engine yet and they are bigger than required, so i will gap them to the correct distance, and i apologize for saying smash them together that was a bad word. thanks for your help.

You should always gap your new plugs.
