Default spark plug boot spring help

I'm replacing the boots and plugs but I am not very familiar with this setup. How far should the springs be inserted into the coil pack?

just did mine today, i replaced the coil boots, springs and spark plugs, you just have to press them a little and try to pull them a little bit and you will see that they are not coming out if they come out press them a little bit harder i tried to twist them and they didnt roll so i put it all back together and it all went fine! let me know how it goes

Thanks. It went fairly well except that I couldn't get the plug at the back of the coil bar separated. I could slide the red locking tab but the plug refused to let loose. It made for a tight work area and I was worried I would pull wires loose in the plug but all seems fine.

i didnt took it off either and man it was tight! but it all went fine, ive read of some guys had to disconnect the heater hose to change them but all you have to do is be careful not to pull the connector wires... it took me about 40min to get it done. im glad to hear it went fine.!
