"I have spark and fuel and compression."

The only other things you need is air and proper timing. If you have everything in proper quantities, it will run.

You should fill in your info so we can see what you have. No crank? Does it click? If it's a auto trans:

If you hold the key over, and jiggle the shifter in park or neutral and it starts, it's your NSS. http://bc4x4.com/tech/2010/jeep-neut...ty-switch-nss/

He says he knows it has spark and fuel. The only way he can know that is that it at least cranks.

But yes, we need more info. Specifics.

Has fuel? How was that determined? Fuel pressure test?

Yes 45 lbs. has good air flow also. Sprayed starter fluid directly into intake. Not even a backfire

Is everyone absolutely, positively sure that the plug wires are on the distributor cap firmly and in the checked-three-times proper position?

Are the wires firmly on the proper spark plug in the checked-three-times proper firing order?

Is there a new rotor installed? For sure?

This is way out there, but are you sure the valves are opening and closing?

Like cruiser asked. Do you have a strong BLUE spark? Any other color is not sufficient. Also you said you installed a new CPS. Was is OEM or was it a off brand? Off brands are known to be bad out of the box.

Add some spark dye until it's nice and blue.

Pressure didn't go from 39 to 49 till 96-97 if I have that right. If that's correct if might be a little high.??

If you have spark, compression and fuel, being flooded is one of the things that will still keep it from firing. You might see if a plug is wet after giving it a go. (X all^, crisp blue spark)

Also, #1 is at 5:00 as viewed from the side, 153624 clockwise.

Make sure the brittle little MAP tube from the inside of your TB, up to the map about center up on the fire-wall is flawless. Off, cracked, or plugged might make it flood.
