Default Spark, fuel, air but no start , help!!!

So my Jeep was running the night before next morning I do a heater core valve delete fairly simple just a couple hoses all went well but then I got a no start. It jumps to want to start but immediately dies out. My fuel pump I can hear it turn on and prime also I get fuel pressure. spark I know I have because it starts for literally a second but shuts off , and air is good. One thing that does bother me is that I did spill a bit of water on to the fuel pump rely but I didn’t seem to blow a fuse in the cause of a short nor a rely issue because I swapped it for a new one but yet nothing. I tested the resistance on my CPS and it seems to be okay. What else could it be???

Check the hose from MAP to throttle body or intake manifold. You don't mention the exact year so it could be different.

Okay, so I know the 98 didn’t have a heater core but when I bought the truck it came with one. I think the pre owner swapped it with his other Xj putting the heater hose in my 98. So all I went ahead on did was delete it to how it came originally.

You interchangeably use heater core, hose and valve in your description, which makes this hard to understand. So you're saying it has now been 'restored' to the original setup for a '98?
