Default Spare Tire Size
I wanted to find out if a 235/75/15 tire could fit in the factory spare location? I need to buy a 15" steel wheel, but I wanted to know if I could use this space or if I needed any special mounting hardware.

I fit mine fine, its a bit of a tight fit.

Is it tight near the lift gate or the wheel wheel? Does it matter which wheel I buy in order for the holes to match up?

Mine came factory with a full size spare but had the same hardware as my 91 with a doughnut. I have a 35 in that same spot now just can't get my seat all the way back on the driver's side.

I have a 235/75/15 spare. and it is a tight fit by the hatch. Super tight on the spare cover.
