sources for after lift shocks?
Went to my local Auto Zone, Car Quest, and Napa, looking for shocks. Took one from the front and one from the back with me, told them I lifted the rear 3" and front 2". No one could find shocks that they said would work. (1 exception, Auto Zone could order me some for like 135 bucks each) Anybody know of some shocks that will work that are available without spending crazy dollars?
So I should ask for Commanche shocks for the rear, and Grand Cherokee fronts. Too easy. That is what I was trying to get some of the counter guys to figure out for me to no avail. Thank you useitorloseit!!

o ya u can there a little more and u have to go there to get them or order them they might not be in stock. the biggest front i found was 30.5" extended in the front i need bigger theres a kit to switch the front to eye loop at the top instead of a post style. u can make these brackets and same for the back. if u want the quickest easiest way out get the grand cherokee up country front shocks there like 3" bigger and the commanchie rears

I guess Im just used to liveing in Las Vegas and have one about 25 minutes from me. I would do like useitorlooseit said. I didnt know all of that. Good to know now.
ya i had a xj 98 i put all the up country coil springs and shocks and commanchie shocks with blocks in the rear i fit 31's np sat good and drove perfect nice ride. the up country stuff is for a grand cherokee which is the same style in the front as a xj there pitman arm is longer too and works for the xj. cheap way out for a little lift just get the rear leafs beefed cuz they are only 1/4 tone and suck!!!
just got off the phone with O'Reily's. They struck out totally on even being able to find an "Up Country" Grand Cherokee. It's very hard to comunicate what you are needing with certian countermen. Some are totally with the program, and others can't think past make model and year. Gonna order some es3000s from 4wheelparts like builtnotbought says. If they don't work, I will fab up some adapters, that's probably what I shoulda done from the start. Now all I gotta do is wait.....
