Sorry to bother, another AC/heat problem...
Sorry for this as im sure that there are alot on here. But i Havent found anything specific to my problem and i just joined.
Basically, I just bought my sisters old Xj since she wasnt using it. The AC doesnt blow cold and the heat seems to work decent, However, im getting barely any air flow out of the center dash vents. The defrost vents work great and floor vents work fine. Any ideas on what may be the cause or what i could do to test it? ANy info is greatly appreciated.

Quite possibly a vacuum leak. Check the vacuum ball behind the front bumper and the line from there to the firewall. The battery area is one place where the plastic line often develops a crack.
This has to do with the vents that depend on vacuum and default to defrost with a weak vacuum. Once you get this fixed you can tell whether you have other problems with a non-cooling A/C.

Find the vacuum leak, under the battery of course. Fixed, vents are now blowing, but no ac just yet, tried a can of recharge, no luck and said pressure was good. Ac clutch seems to be working properly. At a loss for why I would still not have ac...
