Something weird, could be nothing...but
Alright so I'm new to the forums and i recently bought my Jeep and i have some minor problems here and there, catalytic converter, radiator, radio, lights and such. All have been fixed, new catalytic converter and a new radiator, and radio with some nice speakers , but ive been noticing recently that when i come to a complete stop that it feels like the car switches into neutral by itself and when i press the accelerator it just revs the engine for a second and then switches back into drive it seems. I havent really noticed any problems but just wondering if some other people have experieced this with their jeeps.
Mine is a 95 Green Cherokee 4.0l HO straight six with RWD im pretty sure. (dont know much about cars yet)

It sounds a little bit your bands in the transmission are slipping. Try to service the transmission and adjust the bands, not hard to do by yourself, but get a Haynes repair manual> Good Luck!
