Default someone please explain this!?

Ok ever since I could remember, stock radio or aftermarket one, if it is playing music and I flip the wiper **** just to get a sprits of rain or ore what ever, the sound will cut out for about a sec. It doesn't shut off or anything the sound literally just stops. I'd I do this three times consecutively it will ask do it ever time I hit the ****... any ideas?? Btw it's a 2001 sport, rewired the front speakers...

I have the same problem, but it's intermittent. I thought it was a ground problem, maybe something with the switch, but I haven't looked into it
