Default someone help.

I have a 95 jeep cherokee sport. Ive posted other threads and noone has helped me with an accurate response. I bought this jeep.and got it cheap bc it needed a transfer case. The last owner hammered a hole in the side of it too yank out the loose chain. Idiot. And now im having trouble finding out what i can interchange my tcase with. The parts house says theres like 4 different results for transfer case for the 1995 year, ive seen online that only year models 94 and 95 will interchange. Someone please help i need to know what i got, ive never dealt with trannies or tcases before and know what to do.

First off, you need to look at the dataplate on the t-case and tell us what you have.

Read the link I posted. It will direct you to a page that discusses input gears and spline counts.

There is a tag on the tcase. Or do you have your build sheet?

It's really hard to help if you cannot provide basic info about your vehicle.

All Cherokee NP 231 transfer cases have the exact same bolt pattern
