some repair pointers needed.
I am in the process of breathing life back into a 2000 Cherokee Sport 4.0 w/ 4spd auto and need some advice.
It has about 126,000 on the clock, and it has sat for the last 2 years in less than optimum conditions.
So far I have replaced the from pads, calipers, and rotors. Some new brake lines were needed too. KYB Monomax shocks all around. New starter and alternator too. I did a basic tune up. Plugs, valve cover gasket, thermostat and coolant flush are next on the list.
So after all that, there are a few problems that I am now facing. It looks like the neutral safety switch needs adjusting and/or replacing. I know they are very expensive. Are these prone to going bad, or does adjusting them solve most no start problems? Most times now I have to wiggle the shifter to the sweet spot to get her to start.
Second, I recently had a cranking with a no start situation after driving. After it sat for a few minutes it fired up. Crank position sensor? Cam position sensor?
Third. Fuel injector related. I noticed one is splitting and is not long for this world. I have seen things about 4 hole upgraded injectors. Worth while mod, and what would I need for my jeep?
Finally, I would like to install a mild lift without having to replace the new shocks I just installed. 2-3". I saw on ebay a spacer and leaf spring that seemed pretty good. Anyone have luck with these? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jeep-...t#ht_815wt_901
Thanks--Adam

Well Ive done some searching and I found the injectors I would need.
Still looking for some advice on the lift kit, and would appreciate thoughts on the no start issue.
