Default some plastic cracking ???

Well seems like everytime i press on the break some plastic thing cracks/snaps seems like its coming from under the steering column. It does not happen everytime. Any ideas on what could be loose. It sometimes happen when i move the shifter as well. Just wondering what it could be as it is kinda annoying.

Check your brake light switch and see if it's just hanging there.

It will be mounted to a bracket on the lower part of the steerin column near the brake pedal. Normally if it's that bad, you're brake lights will stay on constantly but not always. Make sure they are not on.
