Snapped my bottom leaf spring this weekend ... the tiny one ... should i just go to the junkyard and get another one or should i put 2 s10 springs and put one on each side and get rid of the other little one

im running 3 inch rustys coils on front and just add a leaf on back...

If it was the AAL that broke then yes on the S-10 leaves.Do't use them all cuz it will give you 4.5 to5in of lift in rear.

The aal is ok .... it was the very bottom leaf ... the shortest one? someone told me it would be used for towing./.. should i just replace with same size? or would putting a longer bottom leaf be not smart

Use the same size.A longer leaf will most likely lift the rear.

one path you could take is make a bastard pack and get rid of the AAl because it will sag eventually. You can use the overload spring(the small bottom on) from the s10/blazer/dakota leaves. Or just get the stock overload from a jy and save your money. You might even get away without it if you dont tow or load your jeep up with alot of stuff.

No its just going to replace the broken one, This just prevents the leave spring from inverting from putting alot of weight on it. If you wheel alot and dont haul stuff you can do away with it but you will lose just alittle lift

i think im just going to get one... i do pull my 17 foot wakeboarding boat from time to time... so putting a bigger spring would just be a waste then... thats what i figured, just figured id ask
