And the new bolts are in and engine mount bracket is now firmly attached to the block, time for a drink !!!

So roughly about 5 hours yesterday but I was taking my time as this is the first time I've touch the XJ like this, plus I was changing plans occasionally.

If I had to do the same again I'd probably be done in 3 easily.

Then hour and half today plus another 1 bolting everything up and I'll be done.

Going to do a coolant flush while the hoses are disconnected anyway and swap the thermostat for a 195 deg unit, seems to run a bit cool

Works out I was able to lower the front of the engine by 4" and could of gone future if I was able to make some slack in the transmission cooler lines

Measured from the top front edge of the rocker cover, still need to bolt all the left hand side engine mounting hardware back in please to take the final measurements
