smoke in valve cover

can anybody help me i have a 1993 jeep cherokee 4.0L motor redone and there is smoke in the valve cover and it wont stay runnig,please help!!

okay it has been overhauled it will run but will not but idle pump the gas pedal and it runs and after a few secound the smoke comes and it will dies. i have connected it to a computer and comes back its ok. and i will pull the cover and check it out . thanks

Yep. The smoke is a result of something else being wrong. I will supply the following link to help in making sure the dizzy is indexed properly:

ok the timing is correct and im geting oil on the valves and it still smokes and dies after a few secounds.
