Smoke started coming out if my hood vents
Pulled over and the smoke was coming from the pulley on the a/c. It stopped smoking once it cooled down.
What kind of damage to the jeep and my pocket book am I looking at?

Brand new compressor $200-400? Could it just be the clutch? Shop Labour ?? Your labour?
Reman compressor $120-200?
Junk yard pull $30-50? Your labour?? Recharge? Do you have the tools/time?
