slow pickup drive gear in 2wd

slow pickup drive gear in 2wd
ok, when i have my jeep in 2wd and stick it in drive it has very slow pickup, in 4wd high and low it has much faster pickup speeds, and even in 2wd reverse it is faster. any idea how to fix it?
