Default Sloshing in AC, flooding passenger side

I know there's a million posts about the infamous clogged evaporator drains but none of them or the "drill a hole" fix seem to be so easily done on my particular model.

I've got the 1996 Cherokee Sport which seems to drain right into the chassis like many others, however as seen in the picture below (unless I'm totally wrong here and that's not the drain point) it has the rather inconvenient design of being a big pan and not a nice little 90 degree plug that I can drill right through.

As far as I can tell it does not have a drain hose on the other side, I can't access this from the compartment or under the car, and I'd have to take apart my entire dash on the passenger side just to pop this thing off to clear it.

I'm hoping someone has encountered this problem with this particularly troublesome layout and can give me some direction on the matter.

mine was doing the same thing. can't remember exactly where, but there is a little drain tube that I took off, unclogged and reinstalled. that fixed it.

it's on the passenger side of the engine compartment, against the fire wall. you have to feel around for it. Maybe someone has a picture somewhere and will post it.

Right below the blower motor in the engine bay.

not sure how different the 96' is but I recently did this on a 98'.
passenger side firewall just above the frame rail is a little "L" shaped hose, with the short part of the "L" pointing downwards. mine had a few leaves packed in it and now that it's cleared out I have no more water in the passenger floor. I also took the opportunity to push some aquarium tubing over the nipple once the "L" was removed for cleaning. and hooked my shop vac to it. who knows what else was in there. the heater core area in there has Styrofoam insulators to keep **** from moving around and that deteriorates over time and can plug this or the tube itself as well. hope this helps.

A question that you might want to ask yourself is how did it get clogged in the first place and how to prevent it from coming back... sorry i didnt mean to sound like a dilhole... check it out the best way i have found to clean it is with compressed air and a blow gun, that way you get the whole heater box not just the hose(thats if you have one) they get clogged by way of the cowling under the wipers. Dirt, debris, and whatever fall into the vent and get sucked up by the blower and down in the box. if its really clogged then you can remove the blower motor and use a shop vac in the hole that it came out of

Thanks for the advice everyone. I did find it, completely hidden behind my charcoal filter. The only way you can actually see it without removing the filter is to lay under the car and look straight up.

I popped it off and it dumped a bunch of water. The hose is very narrow it was just a buildup of minerals and probably decay from the rubber hose after 20 years. I ran a piece of bamboo plant through it and it drains great now.
