EDIT: ok, NEW problem I grinded a flat spot on the stud for my TC drop so I can put a crescent wrench on it and now it is working but it is just pushing the cross member down instead of extracting the stud.

So I am installing my TC drop today and i tried the nut on nut trick on the stud but there was not enough threads to do that so I tried vice grips and destroyed all the threads so now i can't drive anywhere to get anything. Anyone have any ideas how to get the stud out?

This, just lower the crossmember so its out of the way. BUY a pipe wrench and remove the stud. Usually 2-3" is enough, too much lowering and you start hurting the motor mounts.
Next time you are removing a stud, use 2 nuts and a regular wrench, it will be alot easier.
