Default Slight problem with front end :(

Its a 95 xj with 4.5RC lift and 2 inch blocks and spacers. 33" trxus M/T's on 4"BS steelies. Anyways when I am on the gas under light to heavy loads I get a thump thump thump sound, and when I am hard braking the same sounds occur. I had the track bar relocation bracket on and it was loose so i tightened it- but to no avail. Took TBRB off and drilled the mount on the axle over 7/8"- but to no avail. Replace all TRE's and adjustment bars- to no avail. The thing that []D[]$$E$ me off most is it looks great now for a redneck rig and it is so damned capable, but I dont want to wheel it until I figure this out. thanks in advance for the reply.

Do you still have the stock front drive shaft?? Have you replaced the front u-joints in a while?? Do you have a low or high pinion axel??

Here is a really easy way to clear your factory parts. I.E. the driveshaft, U joints, etc. Did you have this noise before installing the lift? I bet you didn't. It is definitely something adjusted wrong or not tight enough in your lift. The way you have decribed so far tells me that rather than an adjustable track bar, you have relocation brackets for the top, bottom, or both. I strongly recomend that you get an adjustable track bar that you can install in the OEM brackets and torque it to factory specs. I have found that if the track bar is not properly torqued you will have wandering in your steering and you will have noises under accel, braking and turning. I even tightened to what I felt was tight, one time. It still made noises until I torqued it properly. I hope this helps. Post some pics of that rig with the new lift, wheels and tires. It sounds really nice.

Thanks for the help and i will have one on order tomorrow. Along with a re-torque of everything I touched for that lift.
