OK...I have a 1999 Cherokee 4.0 Inline 6 two wheel drive. When I go over bumps in the road my rear end seems to have a lot of slack in it. I doesn't make much of a noise but you can feel it like crazy. I have brand new shocks. My transmission is a little rough going into reverse but shifts very smooth when headed down the road. Where should i start trouble shooting?

Yeah that's kid of what if feels like. Like the wheels are coming too far off the ground and turning in the air...
