Default Skyjacker Disconnects wont work?

97 Cherokee with 3 inches of lift in front and 4.5 in the back. I need the sway bar to go at least 2 more inches up for it to even fit onto the disconnect. i have a front winch bumper, and the sway bar will start hitting the big bolt holding it on if i put the sway bar any higher which doesn't make sense.......if the sway bar was wider it would work fine, or if the disconnect was 2 inches shorter it would work. Anyone have this trouble? I put it all together to a T. everytime i buy something i run into a problem.....

I just had the same problem with the RC discos that i bought. They fit but they are pushing the sway bar way up and I wont ever be able to disconnect them. Im gonna ditch them and get some JKS ones as soon as i can come up with the $$$.

Yeah, I guess i'll just send these back and invest in some JKS ones. How do you know the JKS disconnects will fit better?

I dont really. I got the RC ones bc they said they will fit a 4-6" lift and I have a RE 3.5 which I got about 4.5" out of. So i figure I will call JKS and confirm that they will fit before I order them, and see what there return policy is if they dont. I know that they are adjustable which is what i need.

Sounds like the disconnects you bought might be for the Skyjacker 6" rock ready set up. Call them with your lift specs and product number for the set you bought, I'm sure they'll hook you up, I've never had a problem with their products or service. I've been running Skyjacker for years.

ended up sending the skyjackers back because they weren't the rock ready 6 inch set up. i bought these from quadratec. Am getting exchanged for the 4-6 inch JKS disconnects. am going to add a 1.5 inch spacer up front.
