hey guys,
im looking at getting the CRAGAR Series 397 Soft 8 Black Wheel for my 99' cherokee sport. right now i have the stock steel wheels with p235 75r15 tires. which size soft 8 rim would fit best with my setup with no rubbing?

15x8 IMO, i like these wheels. They have a -13 offset so your tires will stick out just a tad, giving an aggressive stance.

 

get a 15x8. they're great. i think stock bs is close to 4.25. but with a 1inch wider wheel it will stick the wheels out an inch if the backspacing is the same.

 

the jeep is going to be used for mostly highway driving, should i get 15x7 or 15x8 rims? for just highway no offroading

 

just get your 15x8. wheels are wheels. on road or off.

 

what size tires are you running in that picture?

is anybody running 225 75r15's with the 15x7 or 15x 18 rims that can post a pic?

 

they were 235/75r15 in that picture. your tires now will fit. so will 235's.

quit worrying and buy the damn things

 

stock backspacing is 5.25 inches. anything more (less is more... so 3.75 or 4 in" will stick out more...) will stick out the tires and will not rub... 15x7 or 15x8 will be fine, however i think it might be hard to find a 15x7 with more backspacing. a 15x7 is what you tires are on now but again either 15x7 or 15x8 will be fine
