I'd be VERY skeptical of a set of new injectors where you are getting 6 injectors for $60 total. Stock XJ inectors are like $80 EACH. (Maybe $60 each for an off brand)

exactly.. i tried em out just for the price.. I walked into the guys warehouse.. they have a large operation.. he said theyb buy in bulk? So i said to the owner " I still have no idea how you can sell these for 10 bucks and injectror" He had no response..

These are the lowest priced injectors in the WORLD for a set of brand new lol..??? They work too.. But I wonder what they are really doing..

Yes it is. I think maybe you have another problem with your Jeep that needs looking into. I just passed 165 miles at a half tank in my 1994 Cherokee which has 215,000 miles on it. Right now I'm running a set of the Ford "yellow stick" 710 injectors with a 49psi fuel pressure regulator. Tomorrow I'm going to put in a set of stock '94 injectors which I just rebuilt as I've forgotten what I use to get.

Here is the latest: I filled up the other night.. So far, according to my gas guage, I used a little less than and 1/8th of a tank and went 40.3 miles on the trip guage. The jeep runs great.. I have been light on the foot exept going to work yesterday and doing 80mph late..

When my gas guage hits 1/4 tank or a little lower the light goes on and it beeps.. I find that stange.. Once it hits about just below the 1/8th mark to empty the guage falls off completely and goes an 1/8th BELOW the E mark.. I then fill it up and every time I let this happen recently it takes 16.5 gallons?? I thought it was 20 gallon tank? and how much more is sitting in the fuel system? That being said, I think I'm having gas guage issue.. I said in a prior post I ran it out BUT I did not run out of gas.. The guage went below the E by an 1/8th!! and took 16 gallons to fill it?? That was this fillup.. That being said.. This time IM going to run it out, which is against my better judgement because I dont want to have to change the fuel filter if it clogs, with a couple gallons in the trunk when it runs out.

I have changed my heavy foot too..Im driving real nice.. I wonder the result.. now looks good.. I also reset the computer by touching positive cable to negative for 30 seconds this time..

Who in the F knows.. I will see what the mileage is.. I would like to know the exact amount of fuel in the entire system for this runout.. Anyone know total fuel being held in a 2001 Sport?

guys remember to reset the computer when you put the injectors in, and give it a while for the computer to relearn, it learns for the next 50 key starts, and make sure the 50 starts are not mostly 3 min trips to the shops.

I want to start off by saying Rainman and COAS have a great post on Fuel Injectors and I do not doubt their knowledge. But let me add this post to the mix.

Hi! I love this site.. I’m on here every day now.. I like to screw around with this Jeep.. I love it! Anyway.. Since my last post, which I said I would I did a fill up on 89 Octane. I am now sitting just slightly below the 1/2 tank mark on the fuel gauge. I have gone 134 miles. This is only the 2nd fill up on fuel. I DRIVE REAL NICE.. EASY ON THE PEDAL AS MUCH AS I CAN. I reset the ECU as directed by people on here as well. The Jeep is totally Stock. Before I did this change of injectors to the Fords the following was done to the Jeep a couple months back: New Coil, Plugs, New A/C and Evaporator w/ Charge, New Serpentine Belt, Flush Coolant, New Thermostat, Seafoam Throttle Body with Blue Smoke Burning out of back ( Actually made the truck run great!! Seafoam was better then injectors!) Seafoam the tank, the truck ONLY gets Mobil 1 Full Synthetic High Mileage Oil as per prior owner when I bought it. He told me he had the injectors cleaned or rebuilt in 2009 for 275 bucks. I also did a bunch of other minor things like headlights, wiper motor, Front Brakes and Rear Brakes.. Brake Flush all on my own.. I am at near my mechanical limits with those jobs.. Took me hours to do drum brakes due to defective pin being inserted into the shoe as loose. etc.. I thought it was suppose to be loose so I looked at it for 2 hours before deciding to take back to the store where they said the pin was machined TOO SMALL.. gave me a new pin on the spot and fit snug! LOL.. awful experience that was if your clueless.. Anyway, so I ran out of things to toy with, My idle jumpy and the truck would misfire in Summer and once stalled out, so TSB found and I wrapped injector 3 for Heat Soak issue.. That fixed that.. I then decide to change the injectors to those brand new Fords for 60 bucks for all six lol ( Comon!.. 60 bucks? Im saying how is that possible.. So for 60 I walked into the store in Ronkonkoma NY right down the street from me and bought them from a bunch of guys in a room with a warehouse.. Unknown local parts place that does internet business... They are selling on eBay right now.. Ronkonkoma NY Seller.. Thats Long Island.. I live 1 mile from their warehouse. Anyway, They looked brand new.. I said to the guys as I was walking out the door, " How can you sell these for 10 bucks an injector as new?" They said we buy in bulk.. They came in plastic sealed baggies.. They look brand new and not rebuilt thats for sure.. I walked out of the place wondering how could that be.. 60 bucks? for 6! Everyone else was double the price for used and rebuilt and supposedly these were the best choice according to that post..

Anyway, now here is the result so far.. I am stomping the gas to engage lower gears in the tranny at 50- 60 mph or so to pass other cars.. It feels as though IM waiting for it to misfire or run like crap or like it needs more air.. .. like its got less power or something.. You know what I mean? Its the only way I can describe it.. They are installed properly with no leaks.. They work GREAT off the line as I said before.. Anyway, I think my gas gauge is screwed up so I’m going to run this tank completely out to get a real calculation of mileage and function of gas gauge. Right now it looks like crap! I wonder if I will be changing the fuel filter on running this tank out at 177K!

Anyway, you have got to ask yourself one simple question: WHY ARE THESE INJECTORS ONLY 60 BUCKS OR 10 BUCKS EACH BRAND NEW... No matter how long you look, no matter where you search, you cannot find any information on specs or functioning of these injectors from any manufacturer or Ford Motorcraft on them..

I wonder how COAS and / or Rainman found the specs on the injectors: XR3E 9F593 A4B.. No one knows ANYTHING about them other then that aussie post or maybe FORD?? I can't find a single document anyplace stating anything about them even with the general part number from FORD..

I’m going to see what happens on this tank run out and I will keep you posted.. In the meantime who has documentation on these injectors? Also why am I the ONLY guy on here who ever posted their use. After me, people started posting their use..

Who in the hell is actually posting on this website about these injectors!! I WONDER!!! I bet a lot of vendors posing as USERS!!!

60 bucks for 6 new injectors supposedly the latest design in single hole atomized spray pattern? I beleive COAS and Rainman as they say test it out of car to see.. But I wonder WTF! I also wonder who is posting as vendors and who are real users..

Im going to do as you say rainman.. Its obvious you know what your talking about.. I showed like 10 houses yesterday and shut and started the car at leaste 25 times in all short trips.. At one point my directionals got stuck ON in either direction.. This now pops up when temp hits 210.. Maybe Im running hot too.. The car runs like crap above 210 now.. If Im buying injectors brand new for 60 a set.. why did Ford dump them on the market in bulk? These should be 8-10 year old injectors as new? I wish I could find some documentation to verify ANYTHING said about these injectors..

I’m just going to add that maybe I need to run a few tanks of gas through this thing for the ECU to learn.. I showed 10 houses yesterday for 4 hours straight stops and starts short trips all over long island at least 25 starts and stops.. This is what rainman suggests for the ECU to learn the new injectors.. So, I will stick with these for a while to see what happens.. I will run this tank of gas OUT then fill up two more times and come to a conclusion.. That’s about as good as it will get.. But each Jeep is different! My stock, rebuilt injectors Kicked ***! I was doing this change simply for the information posted on this website about 4 hole and atomized spray being better for gas mileage, performance and power. I HOPE I just need to give it more time..

IM STILL CONCERNED WHY THERE IS NO INFO ON THESE INJECTORS ANYWHERE ONLINE BUT YOU CAN BUY THEM NEW.

Here is the Part Numbers according to: http://www.ausjeepoffroad.com/forum/showthread.php?t=92236

I got: XR3E 9F593 A4B

But there is no info anywhere on ALL part numbers and cross reference of:
MOTORCRAFT #CM-4956,CM4956 XR3Z9F593AB, XR3Z-9F593-AB, XR3E9F593A4B, XR3E-9F593-A4B, YR3Z9F593AB, YR3Z-9F593-AB=all the same injector

Someone find me a spec sheet or Documents on it! Thanks

Hey buysellny, thanks for posting all this stuff! Good information I think! Someone said earlier #19 Ford injectors for better MPG? I thought the only choices I had (having a 99 Jeep) was the 784's and the Ford CM4956? I am so confused still on 99's.. are they EV6 like 2000 and 2001? someone said that 97-99 is the same but I don't think so. Anyway I am seriously looking at doing this but I think I might wait until the same person tries both types of injectors! the only way to get a true comparison! I drive over 100 KM's a day and could use a MPG boost!! (110 km = around 70 miles) But I can get 550-600 Km's a tank already so if these injectors don't do anything than I say (judging by your guy's MPG) I am doing pretty good for gas mileage! I get around 10L/100KM's (23 MPG)

23MPG! I would not even touch it.. Run some seafoam through the throttle body and run a can in the gas tank and leave it alone.. People who show the best results, as far as I can tell on here, are people who change injectors prior to 1999.. That could be for no reason or due to the fact that those are older trucks..

In my case Im not even using the Jeep right now so your going to have to wait a while while I run it this weekend.. Im driving my convertible now.. Its like 70 degrees! I will be comparing the fords to the 784's however.. Ill keep posting..

Here`s one of my favorite 99+ "upgrade" injectors. EV6 and has the same flow rate (Well 2cc/min more) than the more widely sought after 784's.

Bosch 0 280 155 789 240 cc/min flow and 4-hole. They are a lot prettier emerald green than this pic makes them look. (Sorry my cam sucks)

Well I just filled up and checked out my mpg.....I got about 17mph opposed to 15 that I got before and thats pretty much all highway....Also, ive been gunning it everywhere since i put the mustang injectors everywhere, so im sure I can get a little bit better.....They are working out great so far for me, also, I havent ran my jeep on 50 short rides since I reset the ecu so it probably has some more "learning" to do....Im happy with them so far

Update: This is tank number 2 - On my truck the fords XR3E 9F593 A4B . My gas LOW light went on last night.. I drive 85% Highway.. I went 253 Miles and the light went on. IM sitting at an 1/8th of a tank with the light on. This is the area where I think my gas guage is screwed up.. In a few more miles as I approach the line at E it will suddenly fall off the scale.. That being said Im going to get two gallons of gas and put it in the back today before heading out to work. The last time I let it fall off the scale was 3 week ago by accident really.. I was amazed it fell all the way an 1/8th BELOW the E mark.. At that time I filled it up and it took 16.2 gallons? So I am curious to see what happens on a runnout here..

It feels to me like the injectors are starting to run better.. However, I had a heat soak issue!! The other day at only 70 degrees outside!! The injector is wrapped though loosely cause Im lazy.. BUY my concern is atomozation with these injectors within the chamber will cause MORE vaporization and problems with fuel becoming unstable in the injector.. I have a feeling that in Hot summer these injectors will not work for 2001 year and heat soak issue if atomization starts in the injector chamber.. who in the F knows.. Its coming winter so Im going to run this tank and evaluate
