Default Simple Lift?

If I'm only looking to get a few inches of lift, can I just add some shackles to the leaf springs and some coil spacers to the front? I know nothing abouts lifts / very little about suspension / steering... Thanks for the help

thats what im planing on doing, shackles and spacers, just make sure your leafs are in good shape that you wont need replacing soon, if you need to replace them you might want to get new one, and well if you get new ones might as well get them to lift you up. if you want more than 2" you can go with the 2" and zj V8 front springs and you get about 3.5" bc the sprigs give the xj 1.5" ,, and then buy some rear stuff to match.. there many threads about lift search around if you dont find an answer post up your questions

Yeah just get yourself a nice budget boost kit that includes coil spacer and shackle or long AAL...You can in most cased use your stock shocks as long as they aren't worn out..

Thanks guys, that helps a lot... after reading a few posts, etc. I was a little nervous seeing that when you get big lifts you need to change the steering components to compensate, but just a few inches shouldn't hurt, so I'll probably look at doing an AAL (seems safer and better then shackles) and just some coil spacers for the front.

How many miles are on your jeep and is the rear end sagging (leaf springs flat or "W" shaped)?
